2024 Apprenticeship Programme – Planning (Consultancy) – Nuclear – Warrington (September start)

At Mace, we’re global experts in shaping the built environment – helping to lead the way to a more connected, resilient and sustainable world. From development and consultancy, to construction and operations, we connect expertise across the entire property lifecycle to help our clients, people, communities and society achieve more than they believe is possible.

The opportunity

This role starts in early September 2024, and is based on site in Warrington in the Nuclear sector within our Consult engine.

Nuclear New Build companies operate in a complex and demanding environment and marketplace; having to balance service provision within rigorous regulatory regime all the while competing with each other for customers or development contracts.

Businesses are facing increasing costs and complexity when delivering new infrastructure or improving their existing assets. With large-scale major programmes to complete, together with overheads in property and facilities to maintain, energy and utility businesses recognise the value of working with a partner, like Mace, who can help them to drive value-for-money through every aspect of their programmes.

In our Consult engine, you’ll be part of a global think tank where innovation and sustainability take the lead. We collaborate closely with clients to understand their individual challenges, lending new ideas and fresh thinking to make strategic decisions and shape project directions. We will follow our clients where they work, often sharing their locations. Whilst we visit projects and sites, Consult is more about delivery of creative solutions than hardhats. If on-site action speaks to you more, our Construct engine might be your scene – check out the hands-on roles we have there, where you’ll be turning plans into reality on the ground.
