2022 Mace Careers in Construction Programme
Careers in Construction Programme

Our three-day Careers in Construction Programme is an invaluable opportunity for year 11 or 12 students to develop their skills, while gaining insight and experience in the consultancy and construction industry.

Want to learn more about the variety of opportunities in the consultancy and construction industry? Interested in how you can build your career at Mace? Keen to develop your skills and gain some experience?

Our three-day Careers in Construction Programme is designed to give you an introduction to the world of built environment, from development and consultancy, to construction and operations. You’ll gain invaluable knowledge and skills that will help you build a rewarding and successful career.

With exposure to colleagues across Mace, the programme is a fantastic opportunity for you to experience our business first-hand. You’ll find out what it’s like to work with global experts in a business where innovation is at the heart of everything we do.

During the three days, you’ll:
  • Gain valuable work experience
  • Receive presentations on our services
  • Take part in interactive workshops
  • Shadow and learn from some of our current graduates
  • Network with senior colleagues
  • Visit the sites of some of our iconic projects, both live and complete, to help you understand how and why we do what we do
  • Attend personal development sessions, such as CV writing, interview preparation and assessment centre skills so that you feel confident to take the first steps in your career
  • Have the chance to secure an apprenticeship if you do well on the programme
